Manufacturing Operative

Location: Loughborough

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary (until early September, with the possibility of an extension)

The Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary All-Round Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business based in Loughborough. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly team in a busy and growing company that has been successfully operating for over 25 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting and punching copper components.
• Mechanical assembly of LV switchgear.
• Using circular saws and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Measuring and cutting materials accurately.
• Supporting with additional manufacturing duties as required.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• An interest in mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
• Confidence using a circular saw.
• The ability to measure and cut materials with precision.
• Experience using hand tools and assembly techniques.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• Flexibility to work overtime during the week and most Saturday mornings when required.

What’s on Offer

• £13.00 per hour.
• Temporary role until early September, with the potential for an extension.
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 1:30pm
• Overtime available, including Saturday mornings.
