Responsibilities: Here’s what your journey with us entails:
- Painting & decorating is the main focus of the role however, you will support the Engineering team, as required, with the following:-
- Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Inspecting tools, equipment, and machines visually to ensure proper functioning.
- Carrying and operating equipment such as tools and radios.
- Carrying out daily checks on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Carrying out daily checks in relation to fire and Health & Safety
- Replacing and repairing fixtures and fittings
- Monitoring hazards in all areas that you work and ensure maximum safety at all times
- Ensuring records in relation to Health & Safety are up to date and available for audit
- Ensuring all work practices adhere to company and statutory legislation with due diligence at all times
- Ensuring all work is carried out to a consistently high standard
- Following safety and security policies and report any maintenance problems or hazards.
- Developing positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
- Completing safety training and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry or painting & decorating) – ideally within a hospitality environment
Supervisory Experience: None required.
