ROLE OVERVIEW

To further elevate and enhance our operations, weare seeking an accomplished Demi Chef de Partie to contribute and deliver onthe club’s success, providing exceptional experiences for our members.

The Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef dePartie in managing a designated kitchen section and prepares, cooks and presentsdishes to the restaurant’s quality standards. They maintain excellent mise enplace, contributing to smooth daily operations, follow all food safety, hygieneand cleanliness practices diligently and continue developing their culinaryskills while actively supporting the wider kitchen team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist in thepreparation, cooking and presentation of dishes to the restaurant’s standards.

· Maintain mise enplace and ensure your section is well-prepared for service.

· Work efficientlyduring service, following instructions from senior chefs and maintainingconsistency.

· Follow recipes,dish specifications and preparation methods accurately.

· Uphold portioncontrol to reduce waste, cooking accuracy and presentation standards.

Team Support

· Support the Chef dePartie and other senior chefs in daily section operations.

· Workcollaboratively with the team, demonstrating a positive, professional attitude.

· Assist in guidingCommis Chefs when required, acting as a role model for junior team members.

· Events kitchensupport: assist in preparing bespoke event menus to the highest standard,ensuring your section consistently delivers exceptional quality.

· Help monitor stocklevels and minimise waste in your section.

· Maintaincleanliness, organisation and compliance with all food safety and hygieneregulations and other training for your role

· Ensure correct foodstorage, labelling and rotation (FIFO).

· Report any qualityor equipment issues to senior chefs promptly.

EVENTS FOOD OVERSIGHT

· Assist in preparingevent‑related mise en place and dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.

· Work closely withthe Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure all items are prepared accuratelyand on time.

· Support smoothservice during events by staying organised, responsive and adaptable.

· Ensure dishesproduced for events are consistent, well‑presented and meet dietaryrequirements.

· Maintaincleanliness and readiness of your section throughout event service.

REQUIREMENTS

· Previous experienceas a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef background.

· Good understandingof basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.

· A positive, team focusedmindset with a desire to learn and grow.

· Ability to remaincalm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention todetail, organisation and personal cleanliness.

· Commitment tomaintaining high standards and supporting the kitchen team
