Area Sales Executive

I’m working with a leading distributor that is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover a territory from North UK and Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for either:

• An experienced field sales professional with a background in turfcare, irrigation, golf course equipment or machinery, OR
• An experienced Head Greenkeeper, Deputy Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager looking to transition into a commercial sales role.

You’ll have a good understanding of the golf and sports turf sector, along with the ability to build strong relationships and provide customers with technical advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Promoting and growing sales of irrigation and turfcare products across the territory.
• Building and developing relationships with golf courses and other customers within the industry.
• Providing product advice, demonstrations and quotations.
• Identifying new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.
• Working towards and exceeding sales targets.

About You:

• Experience within the golf, sports turf or irrigation industry.
• Either field sales experience or a desire to move into a commercial role from a greenkeeping or golf course management background.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.
