Duty Manager- FOH

AG Hotels Group is currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager – Front of House to join our team at Casa Mere Hotel, Knutsford. As the Duty Manager – Front of House, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the reception, managing staff, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the face of the hotel, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Lead and motivate the reception team to deliver outstanding service and uphold our standards.
• Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy and take on few reception shifts as per the business needs
• Resolve guest issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience.
• Efficiently manage staff schedules to meet operational demands
• Conduct training sessions for the reception team, emphasizing service excellence and brand standards.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and address challenges promptly.
• Uphold high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Help in other departments when required

Qualifications Required

• Proven experience in a reception or front-of-house management role in a similar role.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, Rezlynx or similar).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The candidate should be flexible working on weekends and bank holidays.
