Job title: Managing Director
Location: East Midlands Salary: 100,000 – 120,000 per annum
The Company
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Managing Director to lead an established manufacturing business with a turnover of approximately 5.5 million.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on business growth, sales, operational performance and profitability. A key priority will be developing the company’s online offering and new digital sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the existing sales team.
- Drive sales, profitability and business growth.
- Oversee day-to-day operational performance.
- Identify new markets, customers and revenue opportunities.
- Develop the company’s e-commerce and digital sales strategy.
- Improve efficiency, processes and overall business performance.
About You
- Previous experience leading a manufacturing or product-based business.
- Strong commercial and sales leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Strong operational and financial understanding.
- Innovative, commercially focused and confident challenging existing processes.
- Experience in e-commerce or digital sales would be advantageous.
- A hands-on leader who can turn ideas into results.
