The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Joiner to join a busy specialist joinery team, producing high-quality bespoke joinery for a range of fit-out projects.

This is a hands-on workshop role working closely with design and production teams to ensure all products are manufactured accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications
• Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials
• Assemble, fit and finish bespoke joinery products
• Operate a range of woodworking tools and modern machinery
• Work closely with other joiners to meet production deadlines
• Carry out quality checks on completed work
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance on tools and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years joinery experience, ideally within a workshop environment
• Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Joinery / Carpentry
• Strong background producing high-quality bespoke joinery
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
• Good understanding of joinery techniques, materials and finishes
• Confident using a wide range of joinery tools and machinery
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently and manage priorities
• Flexible and adaptable across different project requirements
