Finance Operations Manager

£60,000 (Pro Rata)
Artemis Human Capital are exclusively working with a successful and growing business to recruit a Finance & Operations Manager on a part-time basis.
Reporting directly to the Directors, this is a broad and influential role combining financial leadership, people processes, systems and continuous improvement.
The role would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys autonomy, wants genuine input into business decisions and is looking for a senior position without the demands of a full-time role.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day finance function and small finance team.
- Prepare management accounts, group reporting, budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee year-end accounts, cash flow, controls and compliance.
- Provide commercial insight to support key business decisions.
- Support people processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Improve systems, reporting, KPIs and processes, including AI initiatives.
The Peron
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong PQE.
- Experienced in leading and developing a finance team.
- Strong technical accounting and consolidated accounts experience.
- Commercially minded with excellent financial judgement.
- Strong communicator, organised and comfortable handling sensitive matters.
- Forward-thinking, with an interest in technology, AI and process improvement.
