Role: Ocean Import Operator – Key Accounts

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Package: From £33,000+ plus 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + bonus

We’re working with an industry leading forwarder in the Birmingham area that are looking for an excellent and experienced Ocean Import Operator.

Responsibilities:

n

n
• Handling Ocean/Sea Import freight shipments from start to finish

n

• Looking after key customers, ensuring all their bookings are complete from Start to Finish

n

• Ensuring customers are assisted and kept up to date of progress at all times.

n

• Taking on responsibilities to ensure all customers queries are dealt with

n

• Securing the best rates, maximising profit on jobs

n

• Completion of Customs declarations – import/ export

n

n

n

Requirements:

n

n
• Previous experience working on Ocean/ Sea Freight Shipments

n

• Knowledge of complete operations process from Start to Finish including customs

n

• Excellent customer service skills

n

n
