Deputy Head of Social Media & Audience Growth

The Economist Group in London is hiring a Deputy Head of Social Media on a permanent contract. The Deputy will report to the Head of Social Media and work with the New York team to lead a roughly dozen early-career journalists in a fast-paced digital operation.

Responsibilities include coordinating newsletters, publishing across platforms, and driving engagement, registrations and subscriptions while maintaining The Economist’s standards and style. Some out-of-hours work is expected.
