B1 Licensed Engineer (Roamer) – East Midlands / Birmingham

We are seeking a self-motivated B1 Licensed Engineer to be based at East Midlands or Birmingham Airport, working on a roaming basis, covering multiple UK bases.

About the Role

In this role the engineer will be responsible for routine servicing and defect rectification of the 737-800 and 737-8200 fleet, assist with aircraft on ground (AOG) recovery and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleet.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
• Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Aircraft line maintenance experience (essential).
• EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 license holder (essential). Includes:
  • + Boeing 737-NG type endorsement (essential).
  • + Boeing 737-Max type endorsement & recency (desirable – type courses available).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (essential).
• Good IT literacy (essential), with AMOS experience (desirable).
• Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and full UK driving licence (essential).
• UK CAA licences accepted if the applicant can demonstrate 5 years maintenance experience and can complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
