Bright Star Talent are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and thriving secondary school in Darwen, rated Good by Ofsted.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students in the classroom and helping them stay engaged with their learning.
- Providing additional support to students who may need a little extra help.
- Working alongside teachers and support staff to help students make progress.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with students.
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Helping create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting students both academically and personally throughout the school day.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people.
- Is approachable, patient and confident.
- Has a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is reliable and comfortable working in a busy secondary school.
- Can use their initiative while also working effectively as part of a team.
- Has a DBS registered on the Update Service.
