Position Summary:To ensure that guestrooms are cleaned and maintained in a manner consistent with a superior quality hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunityEnsures bathrooms are clean and free of hairEnsures guest room areas are clean and free of dustEnsures carpets are vacuumed dailyEnsures corridors and guest room doors are cleanMaintains equipment, locker, cupboards, and vacuumsEnsures cart room and cart are well maintained and organizedReports any maintenance needed in rooms to the Maintenance DepartmentReports anything missing in rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor on dutyAll articles found in rooms to be taken to lost & found daily to ensure the items are logged and labelled correctlyHaving a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and servicesSuggesting additional products and services meeting our Guests’ specific preferencesAssessing guests’ individual needs to meet standards for additional products and servicesActively seeking ways to meet Guests’ product or service needsAll other duties as assigned
