Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- Either:
- 3:30pm to 5:30pm (10 hours per week), or
- 3:00pm to 6:00pm (15 hours per week)
- We can offer flexibility and will discuss preferred hours with the successful candidate.
- Term time only
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, including:
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting surfaces, furniture and fittings
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- Cleaning internal windows and window sills
- Maintaining toilet and washroom facilities to a high standard
- Safely dealing with spills using appropriate equipment and procedures
- Washing and caring for linen and undertaking light ironing duties when required
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
