The Opportunity
We’re supporting a major organisation undergoing a significant cloud and data transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing and improving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and automation practices across a large-scale Azure estate. This is an excellent opportunity to influence best practice, drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and support the delivery of critical cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructureDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutionsBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationSupport cloud governance, security and operational best practicesCollaborate with engineering, architecture and delivery teamsDrive DevOps culture and continuous improvement initiativesTroubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong commercial experience within Azure cloud environmentsExcellent Azure DevOps expertiseStrong Infrastructure as Code experience using BicepExperience with TerraformCI/CD pipeline design and implementationAzure networking, identity and security knowledgeExperience working within enterprise-scale environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice to Have
Microsoft Fabric experienceExperience supporting data platform or analytics programmesKnowledge of modern cloud governance frameworksAzure certifications
