The Role
The firm is seeking to hire an Insolvency Partner.
You’ll advise a varied client base across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, acting for companies, directors, creditors, lenders, shareholders, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders.
The work will include areas such as:
- Corporate and personal insolvency
- Director and shareholder disputes
- Wrongful and fraudulent trading
- Transactions at undervalue and preferences
- Asset recovery and enforcement
- Creditor and lender disputes
- Insolvency litigation and restructuring-related disputes
- Advising insolvency practitioners and office-holders
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in developing the firm’s insolvency offering, with genuine scope to build a practice, develop client relationships and shape the direction of the department.
Requirements:
- You will be an Insolvency Partnerwith a strong track record in insolvency
- Strong experience across contentious insolvency and related commercial disputes
- A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Commercially minded with strong business development skills
- Ambitious and interested in helping grow a practice
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with colleagues across the firm
