A well-established law firm in Devon is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience across a broad range of private client matters to join a supportive and established practice, with genuine opportunities for long-term career development.
The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload of private client matters, advising individuals, families and business owners on a range of issues including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts and trust administration
- Inheritance Tax and estate planning
- Court of Protection matters
- Advising vulnerable and elderly clients
- General private client and succession planning matters
You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice, maintaining strong client relationships and progressing matters efficiently from instruction through to completion.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with experience in Private Client law
- Have a strong understanding of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration
- Be confident managing their own caseload with minimal supervision
- Have excellent client care and communication skills
- Be commercially aware and able to develop strong client relationships
- Demonstrate a proactive and professional approach
