Warehouse Operative
Location: Henfield, West Sussex
Salary: £27,500 + £2,000 average annual bonus + overtime
OTE: Circa £29,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Employment Type: Temp – Perm Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Please note: Due to the rural location, your own transport is essential as the site is not accessible by public transport.
Warehouse Operative – The Role
This is a hands-on and physically active position within a busy warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working at pace & lifting stock.
- Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately
- Load and unload goods using forklift equipment
- Ensure stock is handled and stored safely
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use the warehouse IT system to process and manage orders.
- Load and unload goods using forklift equipment where required.

- Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.
Warehouse Operative – About You
The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy, physically demanding warehouse environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- A valid forklift licence would be advantageous, but training may be available for the right candidate.
- Your own car or motorbike – essential due to the location.
- The ability to regularly lift and move goods.
- Good attention to detail and numeracy skills.
- A methodical and organised approach to work.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
