Brief Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Controller & Business Analyst to
n
support inventory management and business reporting across our UK, Ireland & Nordics
n
operations. This role combines inventory control responsibilities with data analysis, revenue
n
reporting and dashboard development, to improve data accuracy, operational efficiency, and
n
decision-making.
n
The successful candidate will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality,
n
and Sales teams to maintain accurate records, monitor performance, and develop insightful
n
Power BI dashboards that support business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for

Key Responsibilities
n
Inventory Control
n
• Maintain accurate inventory records across warehouses and storage locations.
n
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess
n
inventory.
n
• Support regular stock counts and annual physical inventory activities.
n
• Process inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system.
n
• Monitor inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
n
• Assist with inventory planning and replenishment activities.
n
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and provide recommendations.
n
• Ensure inventory processes comply with company procedures and regulatory
n
requirements.
n
• Analyse inventory trends, stock turnover, service levels, forecasting accuracy.
n
• Partner with commercial teams to develop inventory forecast to support sales growth
n
Power BI & Data Analytics
n
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
n
• Extract, clean, and transform data from ERP systems, Excel, SQL databases, and other
n
business systems.
n
• Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency.
n
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
n
• Support users with report interpretation and dashboard enhancements.
n
Continuous Improvement
n
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reporting processes.
n
• Assist with system improvements and process automation initiatives.
n
• Support cross-functional projects.
n
• Document reporting processes and maintain dashboard documentation.
n
• Promote data quality and reporting best practices.
n
Skills and Experience
n
Essential
n
• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
n
• Experience using Microsoft Power BI.
n
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced
n
formulas.
n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
n
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
n
Desirable:
n
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. CIN7, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar).
n
• Basic SQL knowledge.
n
• Understanding of inventory management principles.
n
• Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
n
• Knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
n
• Familiarity with data modelling and business intelligence best practices.
