We are looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to join a secondary school site in Winchester for a key mobilisation assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing teams and helping establish a new catering operation from the ground up.
Enhanced DBS is required.
The Role
As Catering Manager, you will be involved in the mobilisation and setup of a new school site, ensuring everything is ready to operate smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and supporting the catering team* Assisting with the mobilisation of the new school site* Helping ensure the site is fully set up and operational* Organising people, processes and day-to-day catering requirements* Maintaining high standards of food service, hygiene and customer service* Working closely with the wider team to ensure a successful launch
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a Catering Manager or similar management role* Is confident managing and motivating a team* Has experience working within a catering or education environment* Is organised, proactive and able to work independently* Can support the successful mobilisation of a new site* Has excellent communication and leadership skills* Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
