Responsible fordelivering prescribed care to a defined group of patients within anagreed framework, assessing, planning, and providing person-centrednursing care in partnership with patients and their families/carerswhile acting as the named nurse. Accurately observes, assesses, andevaluates patients’ needs and progress, monitoring and reviewingcare plans and responding appropriately to changes in condition.Contributes effectively to multidisciplinary team working,participates in clinical and non-clinical meetings, and managesnursing priorities through effective delegation and shiftcoordination, including acting as nurse in charge when required.Maintains professional standards through ongoing development,clinical supervision, reflective practice, and adherence topreceptorship and revalidation requirements. Develops positiveprofessional relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors,responds effectively to concerns and complaints, supports newlyqualified staff through preceptorship, and works in accordance withsafeguarding policies, the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation ofLiberty Safeguards, medicines management procedures, organisationalpolicies, and the NMC Code of Conduct.
