Leeds Community Healthcare (LCH) are delighted to offeran exciting opportunity for two Consultant Community Paediatricians with a specialist interest in Neurodisability to jointhe Integrated Services for Children with Additional Needs (ICAN).These substantive 8.0PA posts have been created in response toincreasing demand for neurodevelopmental and neurodisabilityservices across Leeds and will support the continued developmentof innovative assessment and diagnostic pathways.
Based within one of our Child Development Hubs, thesuccessful candidates will provide specialist assessment,diagnosis and ongoing management for children and youngpeople with complex developmental, neurodevelopmental andneurodisability needs. They will contribute to key pathways,including the Single Assessor Autism Assessment Pathway,Needs Led Pathway, and Enhanced Assessment Pathway forChildren Under Five.
Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, the postholders will have opportunities for clinical leadership, servicedevelopment, quality improvement, education and supervision.Opportunities may also exist to contribute to CommunityPaediatrics, Child Protection, Children in Care and SUDIC services.
