Legal Counsel / In-House Counsel
We’re working on an excellent permanent opportunity for a Legal Counsel / Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a growing healthcare consultancy based in London.
This role would suit a junior solicitor, ideally NQ–3 PQE, with strong commercial contracts experience and a genuine interest in developing an in-house legal career within a specialist life sciences environment.
The work will include:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, consultancy agreements and supplier terms
- Supporting contracts with pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech and healthcare-sector clients
- Advising on confidentiality, intellectual property, data protection and commercial risk
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business
- Supporting senior lawyers on client-facing and supplier contract negotiations
- Helping to improve contract templates, processes and internal legal workflows
We are particularly interested in speaking with lawyers who have gained experience in, or exposure to, one or more of the following areas:
- Healthcare consultancy
- Medical communications
- HEOR / market access
- Pharma, biotech or MedTech
- CROs or clinical research organisations
- Life sciences advisory or professional services
- Commercial contracts in a client-services environment
This would be a strong move for a junior lawyer who wants high-quality commercial contracts exposure, close support from an experienced legal team and the chance to build expertise in a specialist healthcare and life sciences setting.
The client is looking for someone practical, commercially minded and collaborative, with strong drafting skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business.
