Warehouse Operations Manager – Late Shift

Kent | c. £55,000 + 10% bonus | 5 days out of 7

I’m working with a rapidly scaling fulfilment business, who are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of their outbound and warehouse operations in Paddock Wood.

This is a key leadership position within the fulfilment function, with responsibility for goods-out, B2B & D2C operations, replenishment and stock movement, alongside leading and developing a high-performing warehouse team.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and manage all outbound warehouse operations, ensuring deliveries and stock are processed accurately and within SLA
• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse operatives, forklift drivers and goods-in colleagues
• Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, safety and continuous improvement
• Maintain high standards across quality control, stock accuracy and replenishment
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service levels
• Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth operational flow and excellent customer outcomes

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience managing teams within a fast-paced warehouse, fulfilment or logistics environment
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Experience managing performance and absence
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A strong focus on accuracy, quality and safety
• Experience with a WMS is desirable
