Rose & Rose Solicitors LLP is a well-established and highly respected firm based in Kingston upon Thames. As our litigation practice continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced *Senior Litigation Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE or equivalent litigation experience* to join our team.
The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in matters including *party wall disputes, right to light, partnership and director disputes, and enfranchisement*.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a confident and commercially minded litigator who enjoys autonomy, complex and varied work, and direct client engagement. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload, develop strong client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the firm’s litigation practice.
*The Role*
You will independently manage a varied caseload of contentious matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
A significant part of the practice includes:
* Party wall matters* Right to light matters* Partnership and director disputes* Enfranchisement
Your wider caseload will include matters such as:
* Property and landlord and tenant disputes* Contract and commercial disputes* Company and shareholder disputes* Professional negligence* Neighbour and boundary disputes* Employment law matters
We are looking for someone who can bring strong, relevant experience across these areas and confidently take ownership of complex matters. Candidates with a particularly strong litigation background who meet the wider requirements of the role are also encouraged to apply.
You will be trusted to manage matters independently while having access to support from approachable colleagues and partners when required.
Alongside technical expertise, we value a commercial approach. You will be encouraged to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers, contribute to the development of the litigation practice and take ownership of your caseload, including service delivery, fees and outcomes.
The firm uses LEAP as its case management system. Experience with LEAP is helpful but not essential.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* At least *5 years’ PQE or equivalent litigation experience** Strong experience across *party wall matters, right to light matters, partnership and director disputes, and enfranchisement** Experience independently managing a contentious caseload from initial instruction through to resolution* Broad experience across property, civil and commercial litigation* Strong client-facing, negotiation and matter-management skills* A commercially aware approach to billing, case management and client service* Confidence developing relationships with clients and professional referrers* A proactive approach to developing new and existing client relationships* Ambition to progress and contribute to the continued growth of the litigation practice
Applicants must be qualified to practise in England and Wales as a solicitor or be an overseas-qualified lawyer with the relevant permission to practise.

*Salary:* £60,000–£120,000 per year, depending on experience and contribution
