Job Description
Commercial law firm in Cambridge is seeking to recruit a Commercial Property (Development) lawyer of 0 to 2 years’ PQE. You will work primarily alongside senior members of the development team, gaining hands-on exposure to some of the firm's most prestigious clients and market-leading and nationally significant development transactions. You will be joining a hard-working, ambitious and supportive team which prides itself on working collaboratively to deliver high-profile development projects. While the role has an emphasis on development work, you will also benefit from a broad range of commercial real estate work, giving you an excellent platform to build a well-rounded practice and accelerate your career. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• advise on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property;
n
• draft and negotiate leases;
n
• licences to alter;
n
• agreements for lease and other landlord and tenant documentation;
n
• managing completion and post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.

The successful candidate will support:
n
• complex development transactions including site acquisitions and disposals;
n
• option agreements;
n
• promotion agreements;
n
• conditional contracts.
n
