Daycare Manager

A New Opportunity for an Experienced leader!

Were looking for a passionate and inspiring Daycare Manager / Nursey Manager in County Tyrone to lead a dedicated nursery team and help continue creating an exceptional environment where children can thrive, learn and develop.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will oversee the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring everything operates safely, smoothly and to a consistently high standard.

• Lead, motivate and support the team.
• Create a positive, welcoming and professional environment for children, parents and staff.
• Oversee staffing, rotas and appropriate staff-to-child ratios
• Support the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Build strong and positive relationships with parents and families.
• Support staff recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisals and professional development.
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements are fully maintained.
• Maintain high standards of documentation, policies and procedures.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and support inspections.
• Deal confidently and professionally with queries, complaints and concerns.

What we are looking for:

• A recognised Level 5 management qualification in Childrens Care, Learning and Development or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years management or team leadership experience.
• Experience working within a daycare, nursery or early years setting
• Experience in another people-focused, regulated or service-led environments will also be considered.
• A genuine passion for supporting children, families and staff.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding, health & safety and regulatory compliance.
