Family Law Solicitor
Location: West MidlandsWorking Pattern: Hybrid- typically 1/2 days per week in the office
A well-established legal services organisation is looking to recruit a Family Law Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ or experienced Family Lawyer looking for a varied caseload, a supportive working environment and genuine flexibility, with just one/ two days per week required in the office.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, taking responsibility for your files from initial instruction through to conclusion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of private family matters
- Advising clients across a range of family law issues
- Handling matrimonial finance matters
- Conducting negotiations and working towards positive outcomes for clients
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence and other relevant paperwork
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring all deadlines are met
- Working towards individual and team performance targets
- Providing a high standard of client care throughout each matter
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (NQ – 4PQE)
- Experience handling privately funded family law matters
- Strong experience in matrimonial finance
- Experience working towards billing, chargeable time or performance targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
- A client-focused and collaborative approach
