Senior/ Principal Civil Engineer

Our client, a renowned consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer. This is a contract position, and our client offers this opportunity at multiple office locations throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and delivering civil engineering projects within the water sector
• Managing project teams and ensuring the timely completion of deliverables
• Providing technical oversight and guidance on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
• Developing and reviewing detailed civil engineering designs, including specifications and calculations
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and relevant regulations
• Participating in project meetings and presenting technical information
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in civil engineering within the water sector
• Strong knowledge of civil design principles and relevant software
• Proven track record in leading engineering projects from inception to completion
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Understanding of IR35 regulations and working within its framework
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
