Temporary Learning Support Assistant – Full Time

Location: Manchester

Contract: Temporary, Full Time

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Start Date: 7th September

Eden Brown are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in the classroom
• Support students with their learning, organisation and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other members of the support team.
• Help students develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
• Support students with additional learning needs where appropriate.
• Encourage a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and communicate relevant information to teaching and pastoral staff.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
• Is patient, approachable and encouraging.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Is reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Is able to adapt their approach to meet individual student needs.
• Has previous experience working in an educational setting or supporting young people would be advantageous.

A DBS check is also needed for this role.
