JDR Recruitment Mansfield is currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a well-established national food distribution business based in Langley Mill, Nottingham (NG16).
Supplying thousands of businesses across the UK, our client plays a vital role in the foodservice industry, delivering high-quality products to restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools, healthcare providers and other catering establishments.
This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity, with the chance to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role
Working within a temperature-controlled cold store (-22°C), you’ll be responsible for the safe movement and storage of palletised stock using a Reach Truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Reach Truck within the warehouse
- Load, unload and replenish palletised stock
- Put stock away into designated racking locations
- Carry out stock movements accurately using warehouse systems
- Complete daily pre-use vehicle safety checks
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
- Support the wider warehouse operation where required
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have previous Reach Truck operating experience
- Hold a valid Reach Truck licence (RTITB or ITSSAR preferred)
- Be comfortable working in a -22°C cold store environment – full PPE is provided
- Have a positive attitude and strong commitment to health and safety
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
What’s in it for you?
- £13.57 per hour for first 5 shifts, £19.92 if work a 6th shift and £26.56 if work a 7th shift
- Weekly pay
- Monday to Friday working pattern – overtime also available
- 7:00am – 4:00pm shifts
