Painter & Decorator

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our growing team, delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across a variety of properties and sites in the Wyton area.

As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of painting and decorating work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint surfaces to a consistently high standard.
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to internal and external surfaces.
• Carry out thorough surface preparation including sanding, filling, priming, and making good.
• Undertake colour matching and ensure accurate finish specifications are achieved.
• Apply specialist finishes including stains, varnishes, and protective coatings where required.
• Hang a variety of wallcoverings and wallpapers (desirable).
• Work collaboratively across multiple projects to meet programme deadlines.
• Monitor decorating materials and request stock as required.
• Ensure works are delivered within agreed budgets and timescales.
• Maintain excellent standards of quality, health & safety, and housekeeping on site.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and site teams.
