General Production – Oakfield Cabinets

First Choice are recruiting for a General Production Operative to join an established manufacturing company in Antrim. The working hours are Monday to Friday 6am – 2:30pm and will offer a pay rate of £12.71 per hour increasing to £13.44 per hour once permanent

This role will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position following successful completion of 16 weeks.

The role will involve assisting with loading and unloading kitchen and bedroom units, checking deliveries, machining and assembling components, and operating production equipment following training.

What We Need From You

• Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work effectively in a busy production environment.
• Comfortable undertaking manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Ability to reliably commute to Antrim for a 6.00am start.
• A forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

What We Will Offer You

• Starting rate: £12.71 per hour
• Permanent rate: £13.44 per hour following successful completion of 16 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• On-site parking
