Forklift/Warehouse Operative

Alison Gray Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client in East Belfast.

Location:Castlereagh, Belfast

Rate of pay: £14.11 – 14.69 per hour

Hours of work: 2 shift patterns available

2 week rotation:

Week 1– Mon- Thur, 6am – 2pm, Fri, 6am – 11.30am.

Week 2 Mon- Thurs – 2pm – 10pm, Fri – 11.30am – 5pm.

OR

Continental

Week 1 – Mon -Wed – 6am – 6pm.

Week 2 – Thurs – Sat – 7am – 7pm.

Main tasks of Job:

• To ensure that raw materials are issued to and finished goods are removed from the factory floor, and prepared for storage or delivery
• Off loading, receipt, storage and stock control of raw materials
• Order assembly and preparation of goods for despatch
• Loading collection vehicles for delivery
• Data input of stock records and production of computer generated reports
• Waste segregation and waste control duties
• Performing other duties deemed necessary by the Warehouse Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

Essential Requirements:

• Counterbalance Fork Lift training and certification
• Previous relative experience working in a similar role within a busy warehouse
• A methodical approach to work
• The ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent accuracy skills
• Good standard of IT skills

Desirable Requirements:

• Very Narrow Aisle Fork Lift training and certification
• Experience working in a similar role within the printed packaging industry
• GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
• Previous driving experience gained within a working environment
• Experience of Waste Segregation and sound housekeeping practices
• Full Clean Driving License
