Eden Househas an opportunity for an Accredited Addictions Therapist to joinour team.
Eden House, part ofPriory, is an affordable, 18-bed residential service in Mill Hill,North London. It is home to Flourish– our pioneering therapy-led addiction programme – offering bespoketreatment for a wide range of addictions in a calm, homelyenvironment. Set within a supportive community, Eden House providesa safe haven away from the stresses of daily life, forming part ofour wider network of residential addiction treatment homes acrossthe UK.
Delivered by qualifiedtherapists in a non-medical setting, Flourish offers an alternativeto traditional hospital-based treatment. It’s suitable for peoplewho don’t require a medical detox or ongoing medical care but wouldbenefit from structured therapy, community connection, andpractical tools to achieve meaningful, sustainablerecovery.
What you’ll bedoing
As an experienced therapist,support worker, therapy assistant, or administrator you will guideclients through daily group sessions, evening recovery-focusedactivities and psychoeducational workshops. Each element isdesigned to help clients develop practical coping strategies, buildresilience and reduce their responses to everydaytriggers.
- Providehigh-quality, evidence-based assessment, treatment, and therapeuticinterventions for individuals experiencing substance misuse andaddictive behaviours.
- Deliver individual andgroup therapy sessions, developing person-centred treatment plansthat support recovery and promote long-term wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team,maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to casereviews, risk assessments, and care planning.
- Build therapeutic relationships that encourageengagement, resilience, and positive outcomes while adhering toprofessional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Whatyou’ll bring to therole
Essential for theRole
- Accredited with a recognised professionalbody (e.g. BACP, UKCP, NCS orequivalent).
- Proven experiencedelivering therapeutic interventions for individuals with substancemisuse and addictive behaviours.
- Ability tofacilitate both one-to-one and group therapy sessions usingevidence-based approaches.
- Strong assessment,risk management, care planning, and clinical record-keepingskills.
- Excellent communication,interpersonal, and multidisciplinary team-workingabilities.
TheFollowing Experience Would BeBeneficial
- Experience working within a residential addictiontreatment or rehabilitation setting.
- Experience delivering psychoeducational groups, relapseprevention, and recovery-focused interventions.
- Familiarity with safeguarding procedures, clinicalgovernance, and regulatory standards.
- Additional training or qualifications in addictiontherapies, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), or otherevidence-based therapeutic approaches.
