What you’ll be doing
- Building strong, positive relationships with local communities, organisations and groups
- Developing existing partnerships and co-create projects that deepen engagement and support the vision for the Tamar Valley property group
- Working closely with volunteer managers, offering guidance and helping to grow volunteer pathways
- Creating new opportunities for participation, ensuring they reflect community needs and interests and a changing volunteer landscape
- Taking part in the Duty Management of our properties and sites where needed
Who we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- an understanding of community engagement, participatory practice, and volunteer engagement, management, and innovation
- excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to coach and support others and work collaboratively across teams
- a proactive, empathetic, and inclusive approach
- confidence in using data and insight to guide decisions, with experience of improving and innovating processes and systems
- self-motivation and confidence working independently, with the ability to take initiative and manage your own workload effectively
- knowledge of relevant legislation, including safeguarding, GDPR, and equality
- excellent organisational and planning skills to deliver team priorities
