  • Monitoring and reporting on recruitment activity and workforce planning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract high calibre freelance and temporary staff across multiple event roles.
  • Manage job postings, applications, and candidate communications from initial enquiry to onboarding.
  • Establish and maintain localised talent pools to minimise travel and accommodation requirements for staff.
  • Build relationships with potential candidates, maintaining regular contact to ensure engagement and retention.
  • Assist the Recruitment Manager with permanent recruitment as required.
  • Collaborate with event operations teams to understand upcoming staffing requirements.
  • Track recruitment KPIs, maintain accurate candidate records, and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Support Operations department compliance with right-to-work, reference, and other pre-employment checks for freelance and temp staff.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in recruitment, with a focus on temporary, freelance or live event staff.
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to attract, engage and retain high-quality candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple temporary and freelance vacancies and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment law and freelance/agency staff regulations.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems or CRM tools preferred.
  • Comfortable working in an office-based role with occasional onsite event support.

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary.
  • Exposure to a high-energy, fast-paced live events and lively office environment.
  • Opportunities to shape and grow the internal freelance recruitment function.
  • Company pension, free parking, regular company events.

If you are an experienced recruiter, used to managing temporary or freelance talent and are looking for a fast-paced role with responsibility and autonomy, we want to hear from you.
