Bodyshop Manager in Cardiff

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and professional Bodyshop Manager to oversee a large automotive accident repair centre in Cardiff. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a motivated Bodyshop Manager seeking to lead and develop a successful bodyshop operation.

Bodyshop Manager Duties:

• Overall management of the bodyshop, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability
• Lead and develop a large team, including productive staff and front-of-house/customer service personnel
• Implement and maintain strict processes for team management, workflow, and customer service standards
• Monitor and improve profit margins through effective resource planning and cost control
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Work closely with the Area Manager to achieve business and performance targets
• Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of repair quality and service
• Manage training and development programmes for staff to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Proven recent or current experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• Management experience is preferred but professionals looking to progress will also be considered
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to implement efficient processes and develop operational strategies
