You’ll lead the architectural design and delivery of mission-critical, high-performance systems, working closely with leadership and a talented engineering team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex architectural decisions, shaping how the core platform is built and scaled over time
- Drive the design and delivery of secure, high-performance features across mission-critical systems
- Build and maintain robust APIs that allow global partners to integrate reliably with the platform
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to turn ambitious ideas into well-engineered, production-ready solutions
- Raise the technical bar across the team; championing best practices, quality, and a culture of continuous improvement
- Play an active role in developing the engineers around you, sharing knowledge and helping the team grow through hands-on guidance and collaborative code reviews
About You
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript, with a strong background in complex, high-scale backend environments
- A natural systems thinker. You design for performance, security, and long-term maintainability from the start
- Solid experience building and scaling distributed systems and RESTful APIs that handle serious workloads
- Equally comfortable working with engineers and non-technical stakeholders, translating complexity into clarity
- Thrives in a fast-paced, Agile environment and takes personal ownership of the quality and integrity of what gets shipped
- Someone who is energised by building not just the product, but the team and culture around it
