PrioryHospital Bristol has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapistto join the team on the Acute Ward. This is a part-time role; thesalary for the 15 hours is £14,247 per annum. Working days to bediscussed atinterview.PrioryHospital Bristol, Stapleton, Bristol is a specialist mental healthand addiction treatment service for individuals, families andcouples. It provides fast access to treatment for a range ofpsychiatric conditions and addictions. It is accessible by publictransport, with local bus routes serving Stapleton and BristolParkway railway station, which is approximately 2–3 miles from thehospital.
What you’ll bedoing
As an Occupational Therapiston our Acute Ward, you’ll support patients to build the confidence,skills and coping strategies needed for greater independence.Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll provideevidence-based, person-centred assessments and interventionstailored to individual needs.
Keyresponsibilities:
- Assess patientsand develop individualised treatment plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions throughindividual and group sessions.
- Monitorprogress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team,patients and carers.
- Support junior staff andcontribute to high standards of clinical practice.

Whatyou’ll bring to the role
Essential for the roleCandidates must be HCPC registered andhold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree(including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduatediploma, or Master’s pre-registration qualification in OccupationalTherapy)
