HomeServe UK is seeking a commercially focused Senior Legal Counsel to join their team in Walsall. The role involves providing expert legal guidance on a broad range of commercial matters, with a specific emphasis on technology, IT, and software licensing agreements, reporting directly to the General Counsel.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a qualified solicitor.
• Significant experience gained in-house or within private practice.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Specific experience with IT/technology agreements (SaaS, software licensing, cloud services) is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Negotiating and drafting diverse commercial contracts including supply agreements, IT/SaaS contracts, marketing/influencer arrangements, and contractor agreements.
• Collaborating with operational departments to identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
• Providing legal advice to senior stakeholders and participating in management committees.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
