Pet Claims Manager

Our client is looking for a senior Pet Insurance Claims professional to take ownership of technical claims oversight, quality and governance within a growing insurance operation.

The role will involve:

• Acting as the senior technical authority for complex, high-value and contentious pet claims.
• Leading and supporting a specialist pet claims referral team.
• Providing technical oversight and challenge to TPAs.
• Conducting claims audits, file reviews and quality assessments.
• Identifying claims leakage, risk and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting governance, compliance and FCA-related requirements.
• Using claims MI and data to drive improvements in quality and consistency.
• Providing technical input into digital claims, automation and decision-making initiatives.

We’re looking for:

• Strong technical pet insurance claims experience.
• Excellent knowledge of policy interpretation and complex claims assessment.
• Experience in technical oversight, audit or claims quality.
• A strong understanding of claims leakage, risk and financial exposure.
• Knowledge of FCA requirements and claims governance.
• Confident stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge TPAs and influence decisions.

Location: London / Hybrid, with some travel for partner visits.
