Payroll Officer — Transition Project (Hybrid)

Connect2Halton is seeking an experienced Pay Officer to support Halton Borough Council through a payroll transition project. This full-time role is based initially on site in Widnes, with a move to hybrid working.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate, on-time payroll processing and collaborating with colleagues across the Council. A minimum of two years’ payroll experience is required.

The position offers a pay rate of £15.31 per hour and a minimum two-month contract starting October 2026.
