Head of O&M Business Development

• Provide BD leadership for existing and new customers in the UK
• Ensure continued growth and success of the px group O&M business in the UK
• Identify and research opportunities and convert them into commercial contracts
• Target key new opportunities and identify client requirements, risks, technical and commercial solutions
• Front client relationship development
• Work with the bid team to generate proposal documentation
• Provide internal teams with information required to create bids and answer RFIs
• Present proposed and identified project O&M solutions to external clients
• Support the Group BD Director with weekly, monthly and year-end metrics and status reports
• Support presentation and budgeting/forecasting activities
• Log opportunities and communications via HubSpot
• Proactively develop, contact and manage existing and new clients
• Develop and convert new project opportunities
• Report to the Group Business Development Director

Requirements

• Degree qualified in relevant technical or business management discipline, or equivalent
• Experience gained in a similar industrial environment
• Strong understanding of process plant operation
• Understanding of managing operations in a high hazard environment or industry
• Previous experience of Business Development or selling service-based solutions
• Knowledge of commercial contracting
• Strong background in Business Development and developing clients
• Able to set own workload and targets
