Avanti GrangeSecondary School is seeking to appoint a reliable and organised ScienceTechnician to support the delivery of practical science across our school.

What will you do?
- Prepare equipment andmaterials for lessons, maintain laboratories and preparation rooms
- Provide practical support tothe Science Department on a day-to-day basis.
- All technical work is carriedout in accordance with CLEAPSS guidance and COSHH regulations.
- Buildeffective professional relationships across the school community.
What are we looking for?
- Knowledgeable in health and safetypractice, COSHH regulations and CLEAPSS guidance as they apply tolaboratory work
- Accurate and methodical, with strongattention to detail
- Able to manage a varied workload andrespond calmly to changing priorities
- A confident communicator, able to workeffectively with teaching staff and pupils
- Committed to safeguarding and the welfareof children and young people
