Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver wanted in Abergavenny, paying £17.00- £19.05 per hour to work Monday to Friday with starts between 05:00-07:00. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular ongoing work and consistent hours.

Looking for your next driving role? We’re recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a busy operation based in Abergavenny. If you have experience with flatbed vehicles and are confident securing loads, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Duties:

• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on scheduled deliveries and collections
• Operating flatbed trailers safely and efficiently
• Strapping and unstrapping loads to ensure safe transportation
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing a professional service to customers at delivery locations
• Ensuring compliance with all Driver Hours and Road Transport regulations

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Previous flatbed experience desirable
• Confident strapping and securing loads
• Good understanding of Driver Hours regulations
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
• Excellent time management skills
