A leading City law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Tax Associate qualifying in March 2027 to join its highly regarded transactional tax practice. The team advises on some of the most sophisticated and high‑value matters in the market, spanning private equity, funds, finance, corporate M&A and restructuring. As part of this tight‑knit, intellectually rigorous group, you will work on the tax aspects of private equity and private credit transactions, fund formations, investments, exits and management as well as corporate M&A deals, joint ventures and reorganisations, many of which involve complex cross‑border structuring. You will also advise lenders and borrowers on the tax implications of financing structures, debt instruments and credit arrangements, and will be involved in drafting and negotiating tax provisions in transactional documentation. The role offers meaningful client contact from the outset, with opportunities to deliver clear, commercially grounded advice to sophisticated clients including funds, financial institutions, corporates, management teams and high‑growth businesses.
