Casual Retail Team Member

Responsibilities

• Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions. Talk to customers about upcoming offers, products and promotions.
• We are a food business – make sure the shop always looks immaculate, clean and spotless, stock is replenished and rotated, and the freezers are full.
• Be a whizz on the till. Operate it efficiently and accurately.
• Understand the shop paperwork, necessary legal checks and their purpose.
• Open up the shop. Close the shop, end-of-day reconciliation.
• Check in deliveries and placing orders, assist with stock taking as required.
• Look smart with apron, and name badge on at all times.

Experience

Experience not necessary but previous experience of working in Retail or in a customer facing role would be the icing on the cake. Other bits if you tick most of these boxes but not all – don’t stress. We’re all about potential.
