Site Engineer – Civil Engineeringn Location: Glasgow & Central Belt (within 1 hour of Glasgow)
n Salary: 45-60,000 + package + company vehicle
n About the Role
n A well-established civil engineering contractor based in the West of Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a growing portfolio of projects across Glasgow and the Central Belt. With a strong and sustained workload secured within a one-hour radius of Glasgow, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and expanding business.
n The Role
n You will play a key role in the successful delivery of a range of civil engineering projects, working closely with site management to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
n Key Responsibilities
n Setting out and surveying works in line with technical drawings and specificationsn Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and design engineersn Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety standardsn Interpreting and reviewing technical drawings, identifying any issuesn Maintaining accurate QA documentation and as-built recordsn Supporting planning and programme delivery on siten Assisting site and project management teams with daily operations.
n Requirements
n Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineeringn Strong setting-out capability using GPS / Total Station equipmentn Experience within infrastructure, groundworks, or general civils projectsn HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)n Good knowledge of health & safety regulationsn Strong communication and problem-solving skillsn Full UK driving licence
