Job title: Sales Executive
Location: Dover
Salary: up to £35,000 (OTE c.£47,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
The role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our client, a well-established provider of third-party freight bookings and customs clearance services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional to take ownership of business development across the UK. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, winning new business and developing strong, long-term relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities would be to:
- Generate new business through proactive cold calling and outbound sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK
- Sell ferry services to new and existing customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Take ownership of accounts once onboarded, ensuring they are nurtured and maximised
- Prepare and provide accurate quotations to customers
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services
- Negotiate with customers to secure new business
- Attend customer site visits when required
Experience and skills required:
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Proven experience in business development and account management
- Confident carrying out telesales and cold calling
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- A proven ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships
- Strong administrative and numerical skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident, positive and engaging personality
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and target-focused
- Ambitious and keen to develop within a growing business
